BC Artistic Swimming is a huge advocate of the AquaGO! program recognizing it as a turn-key opportunity to rebuild or grow its membership following the current health crisis. In partnership with Canada Artistic Swimming, we are now making it even easier to help our member clubs to prepare to deliver AquaGO!!!

In response to the current health crisis in Canada and around the world, Canada Artistic Swimming has fast-forwarded plans to pilot a blended training environment for the AquaGO! Instructor Course. This allows coaches to take a portion of the AquaGO! Instructor course online with a one-day in-person/pool component to be completed once artistic swimming activities resume. Given this is a pilot that will be delivered by CAS staff, the course will be available for FREE with coaches needing only to pay for the pre-clinic materials and pre-requisite courses ($75) as outlined below.

To further support our clubs and coaches, BC Artistic Swimming will subsidize $50/coach to complete the pre-requisites as well as the cost of the in-person clinics making the total cost $25/coach for a limited time.

ELIGIBILITY:

To be eligible for the subsidized program, coaches must be:

  • registered and in good standing for the 2019-2020 season, and
  • a minimum of 15 years old.
