BC Artistic Swimming supports and aligns all program delivery with the Canada Artistic Swimming Long-Term Athlete Development Framework 2.1. The LTAD Framework 2.1 introduces physical literacy and athlete development in artistic swimming at all levels from entry level to Sync for Life. It serves as the fundamental operational manual that underpins the structure and programming for our sport in BC and across Canada.
Please check our events calendar for details regarding all upcoming events.

BC Artistic Swimming oversees sanctioning requests from Clubs wishing to attend competitions outside of BC but within Canada.
1. Coaches/clubs are required to complete and submit BC Artistic Swimming’s Competition Sanctioning Request Form for permission to attend an out of province competition.
2. All requests to participate in an out-of-province competition will be submitted to the High Performance Director for review and approval.
3.The routines must be competed in their entirety at an age and level-appropriate BCAS sanctioned competition prior to the request being considered.
4.Approval to participate in an out of province competition must be granted before the club can register for the out of province competition. It is strongly recommended that this be done prior to paying registration fees and making travel plans, as there is no guarantee the request will be approved.
No sanctioning will be granted to athletes when the competition conflicts with BCAS's competition and events schedule. No sanctioning will be granted when a provincial team is attending the same competition, unless the request is to enter into a separate age group than the provincial team.
Canada Artistic Swimming oversees sanctioning requests from Club or Provincial teams wishing to attend competitions outside of Canada. The bid procedures are available on Canada Artistic Swimming’s website. All clubs attending an International Competition must submit and International Report to Canada Artistic Swimming upon their return.
